Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (PDF) Position Available Immediately at Dr. Liang Li group at the University of Alberta. This position is supported by Mitacs and Nova Medical Testing Inc and it is available immediately. This PDF will work on projects focused on developing and applying liquid chromatography mass spectrometry and data science for metabolomics and lipidomics. The position will be supervised by Dr. Liang Li, (Professor of Chemistry and Co-director of the Metabolomics Innovation Centre (TMIC) of Canada).

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Huan Lab. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to projects that develop and apply metabolomics and exposomics methodologies, including:
Sample preparation for diverse biological and environmental matrices
Mass spectrometry (LC-MS / UHPLC-MS / QTOF or similar platforms)
Data processing, statistical analysis and computational workflows
Biological interpretation of untargeted metabolomics and exposomics datasets
This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the interface of method development and biological application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology, proteomics, or systems-level analysis with a demonstrated interest in expanding into metabolomics and exposomics.
