August 2nd was a remarkable day as we hosted the TMIC 2.0 Board of Directors Orientation, and it couldn’t have been more fantastic! The event was graced by esteemed guests from Canada Foundation for Innovation/Fondation canadienne pour l’innovation, Genome Alberta, and the University of Alberta RSO (Research Services Office) fostering valuable connections for advancing metabolomics research.

The day kicked off with a captivating tour of the TMIC UofA Nodes Facility in the morning. Our guests had the privilege to witness firsthand the cutting-edge technologies and research initiatives that are driving innovation in the field of metabolomics, lipidomics, and exposomics.

Introductions were in order as we proudly welcomed our new Board Members to the TMIC family. Their expertise and dedication will undoubtedly play a vital role in shaping the future of TMIC and metabolomics in general.

At TMIC, we believe in fostering a collaborative ecosystem, and that’s precisely what the Board of Directors Orientation Day was all about. It brought together brilliant minds, passionate individuals, and leading experts from different domains to collaborate, share ideas, and shape a better future direction.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone – from our board members, node members, staff, and researchers to our funders, collaborators, and clients for their continuous support of TMIC. Together, we will make a real difference in sciences and continue to transform lives through the power of metabolomics.
